I wanted to share my current robotics project I’m calling MeepBot for Mini Expandable Exploring Printed Robot.
All the electronics and software are following Josh’s tutorials (thanks for those Josh!). Hardware wise, everything was designed in fusion360 and 3d printed on my Ender 3. My goal was to make a robot that I can easily add attachments to in the future so I can try out different sensors and such as I learn more.
I’m using Ubuntu 22.04 with ros2 humble. I’ve gotten the robot to move around with direct commands, but that’s about it so far. I’m excited to get the camera and ultrasonic sensor working and my wife just got me a lidar sensor for Christmas so that’s on the list as well!
