Discussion - Robot Teleoperation (Making a Mobile Robot Pt 14a & 14b)

So I found the issue.
The problem appears to be with my motor of choice. well the encoder on the motor is whats causing the problem to be precise. Instead of using the provided 6pin female header, i bypassed it and gave the connections directly to the motors on their terminals on the bottom and worked like a charm. I’ll have to figure out what exactly is causing this problem on the encoder.
Leaving this here in case anyone in the future has a similar issue.
